Neptune - 080725
Thu Aug 07 2025
Neptune, the most distant major planet in our solar system, and my first time ever imaging it. It is a tough target because it is so far away that it shows up as just a tiny blue-green dot even at high magnification. That faint disc is a giant world of ice and gas nearly 3 billion miles from the Sun.
