NGC1499 - A Closeup of the California Nebula
Sat Feb 28 2026
After nearly 4 months of cloudy weather, it was good to get back out last night even though it looks like it will be awhile before another clear night. I’ve decided to start fresh and go ahead post what I had on this. This was originally taken in October and I planned to shoot it for at least 5-6 more nights but it’s not in a good spot at my location any more so I’m calling this one complete.
