I’m still practicing processing solar images and waiting on clear skies. Also, my CGEM mount has reached its end I believe so I’m considering options for a replacement. I’ve uploaded 4 versions, color and black and white of both normal and inverted views.
About this object
- Type
- Star (G2V)
The Sun is the star at the centre of our solar system, a ball of hot plasma about 1.39 million kilometres across and roughly 150 million kilometres from Earth. Solar imaging captures its ever-changing surface: sunspots, granulation, and, in hydrogen-alpha light, towering prominences and filaments at the limb.
