Our Sun, captured from my backyard on June 19, 2026, in the light of hydrogen-alpha. This wavelength reveals the churning surface texture and the fiery prominences arcing off the edge that ordinary sunlight completely hides. Even our nearest star is a restless place, its surface constantly reshaped by powerful magnetic activity.
