I attempted to take hundreds of frames of the moon yesterday morning but I just couldn’t get things to work like I wanted when stacking them for various reasons. In the end, I noticed how sharp one single frame was and used that instead overlayed another frame used for the background.

The Moon is Earth's only natural satellite, orbiting at an average distance of about 384,000 kilometres. Its heavily cratered surface, maria, and mountain ranges shift in appearance with the changing phase, when the low angle of sunlight along the terminator throws surface detail into sharp relief.
