NGC 4725 & NGC 4712 (LRGB) (Tighter crop with adjusted colors) (Final)
Wed Apr 12 2023
NGC 4725 is a striking barred spiral galaxy, unusual for having only a single dominant spiral arm, with the smaller galaxy NGC 4712 sharing the same field far beyond it. I love a good barred spiral, and watching this pair emerge in my data honestly gave me goosebumps. Both lie tens of millions of light-years away.
