SH2-112 - Emission Nebula in Cygnus
Sun Sep 24 2023
SH2-112 is a bright emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. It shows off one of my favorite features in this kind of object: dark, dusty structures silhouetted against a bright background glow of oxygen. A young, massive star nearby pumps energy into the cloud and makes it shine.
