IC 405 - The Flaming Star Nebula
Fri Mar 22 2024
Colorized hydrogen alpha with RGB stars Always one of my favorite deep sky objects, I’ve imaged this one several times but never at this long of a focal length. I can’t fit as much of it in my FOV with this telescope but I can gain resolution. This would improve a lot with more exposure time but I’m in galaxy mode now so I’m moving on and I’m pretty happy with how it looks. I always forget just how faint this is!
